Why pre-order now

The first production run is limited to [N] units, and the early-bird batch of [N] units is priced below the standard list price. Early-bird pricing ends on the first milestone in the timeline above – once those units are reserved, or the date passes, pricing moves to the standard tier.

Pre-ordering does more than save you money:

  • You reserve a build slot in the first run instead of waiting for the second.
  • You get priority onboarding and input on adapter configuration for your interfaces.
  • Your commitment helps us finalise the production quantity – which is exactly what makes the first run possible.

Product readiness

Where Testladen stands today – updated as we progress

  • Working prototype demo

A functioning prototype runs HIL, end-of-line and functional tests in-house. Public demo video in preparation – [watch the demo] (link coming soon).

    In progress
  • Bill of materials finalised & costed

Core BOM is defined and costed; we are locking final component choices and supplier quotes to confirm pricing before charging pre-orders.

    In progress
  • Manufacturing plan

Assembly partner and lead times being confirmed (PCBA via an SMT partner such as JLCPCB, plus in-house final assembly and test). Placeholder – update with the chosen partner and quoted lead time.

  • Production & shipping timeline

A realistic, dated timeline is published above and updates live. Shipping is currently planned to start Q1 2027.

    Ready
  • Certifications & compliance

CE marking is planned; FCC is under review for units shipping to the US. Both are pending until testing is complete – we will not ship into a market before the required conformity is in place.

Refund & cancellation policy

Your pre-order reserves a production slot – it is not a final sale.

  • Cancel any time before your unit enters production for a full refund. Just email us and we'll return your payment in full.
  • If we cannot deliver, or we materially miss the published timeline, you can cancel for a full refund at any point.
  • Payment is handled securely through Shoprocket; we never store your card details.

Questions before you commit? Get in touch – we're happy to talk it through.

Honest risk disclosure

Testladen is early-stage hardware. Pre-ordering supports bringing it to production, and like any hardware effort that carries real risks we think you should know up front:

  • Timelines can slip. Component lead times, certification and manufacturing can push the ship date. We publish a live timeline and will email you promptly if it changes.
  • Specifications may still change. Interfaces, dimensions and included adapters are being finalised; details marked "placeholder" are not yet contractual.
  • This is not an investment. A pre-order buys a product at a set price – it grants no equity, interest or guaranteed return.

Our commitment in return: transparent status updates, an honest timeline, and a full refund if we can't deliver what we promised.

Who's behind Testladen

Bitcrush is an Austrian embedded software development and testing practice based in Langenlois, run by founder Bernhard Trinnes. We build HIL, end-of-line and functional test systems for embedded products every day – for clients ranging from industrial automation to safety-critical devices. Testladen packages that experience into a product.

  • Real testing track record – we do this work daily, not as a side project. Read our technical articles on embedded testing.
  • A named, accountable owner – Bitcrush is a registered Austrian business (see the legal notice), not an anonymous storefront.
  • Based in the EU – same time zone, same language, reachable by phone and email.
